    Job Description

    CIRT Technologies LTD, an established IT/ software development company in Uganda, is seeking a dynamic, self-driven, result and target oriented individuals to join its dedicated marketing team immediately.

    Salary: Daily allowance + 600,000 UGX Salary on target hit and an attractive commission on every successful sale.

    Location: Kampala, Uganda

    Age: 25 – 40 years

    Start Date: Immediately

    Duties/ Responsibilities:

    • Identify sales opportunities/prospects, setting up initial sales and meeting the client
    • Generate sales and ensure sales targets are met.
    • Generate leads, follow-up on new leads and referrals.
    • Promote products by demonstration, instruction and presentations
    • Following up on clients to ensure satisfaction with our products, resolving complaints and developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.
    • Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly, quarterly and annual analyses.
    • Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products etc.
    • Follow-up for collection of payment.
    • Create, customize and conduct proposal presentations based on target customer.
    • Assists in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed.
    • Prepares action plans for effective search of sales leads and prospects.
    • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    • Diploma in IT/Marketing with IT sales/Software sales experience
    • At least 1 year experience in sales in the field
    • Experience in Software sales will be an added advantage
    • Highly motivated, energetic, passionate
    • Demonstrable interest in sales, technology and the Internet, with a desire to learn.
    • Self-discipline – since this position involves being out of the office most of the time, we want to know that we can trust you to work and not attend to personal matters during working hours.
    • Work Monday to Friday 9.00AM to 5.00PM

Office Assistant/Receptionist

Position Title: Office Assistant/Receptionist

Period of Performance: Employment under this contract is of a continuing nature. Its duration is expected to be part of series of sequential contracts; all contract provisions and clauses and regulatory requirements concerning availability of funds and the specific duration of this contract shall apply.

Place of Performance: Ntinda, Kampala, Uganda with possible travel.

List of Duties

  • Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office
  • Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office
  • Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls
  • Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms and brochures)
  • Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
  • Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries
  • Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges)
  • Order front office supplies and keep inventory of stock
  • Update calendars and schedule meetings
  • Arrange travel and accommodations, and prepare vouchers
  • Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing and faxing
  • deal with queries from the public and customers
  • ensure knowledge of staff movements in and out of organization

  • Preparing meeting and training rooms.
